Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Niklas Kühl, Chair of Business and Information Systems Engineering and Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence, researchers from information systems, law, and philosophy will work together to combine technological innovation with legal certainty and social responsibility.

A recent study by the University of Bayreuth examines the material requirements of wind energy expansion in Germany and identifies ways in which resource consumption can be reduced in future. The study focuses on the material flows associated with wind turbines and on how materials can be saved through resource-efficient repowering and the reuse of existing infrastructure.

To what extent can AI improve our financial decisions, or steer us in the wrong direction? Researchers at the University of Bayreuth investigated this question in a new study involving 3,700 participants and fictional investment fund savings plans. Their findings are presented in a CESifo working paper.
