Economics, Master of Science (M.Sc.)
The Master's programme "Economics" is characterised by a mixture of basic and specialisation courses. Talented students also have the opportunity to participate in doctoral courses and gain credit for excellent performance. Much more than in the bachelor's programme, independent scientific work is what is required for master's students. The courses available offer numerous possibilities for integration with Business Administration, Law and the master's programmes in Philosophy & Economics and History & Economics. Despite the diversity of the courses offered, the aim remains to impart core competencies in the fields of institutional economics, international economic relations, and empirical economic research. Students will be able to structure and solve complex problems at a methodically high level.
