Media Culture & Media Economy, Master of Arts (M.A.)
The Master's programme "Media Culture & Media Economy" combines media, history, law, economics, and computer science in a most innovative way. With this transdisciplinary networking, the course takes into account the constantly growing importance of media in our social environment and covers various media-related topics. The focus is on audiovisual and digital media, although the diverse programme ranges from the invention of book printing to current developments in the global media industry.
In terms of interdisciplinarity: great. The degree programme has been designed with this in mind. I learned a lot, very interesting content. However, you need to have the motivation to learn something in each area in order to be successful. Law and economics are excellent subjects and very interesting. Computer science is difficult for many, but doable nevertheless.
