Teaching Programme with Elite Certificate "MINT-Lehramt PLUS", Master of Science (M.Sc.)

Nurturing gifted students in teacher training - that is what the University of Bayreuth is implementing together with the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg with the innovative elite programme "MINT-Lehramt PLUS" (STEM Teacher Training PLUS). Within the framework of the Bavarian Elite Network, particularly gifted and capable students of biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, or physics for the teaching profession at grammar schools receive educational and developmental opportunities that go substantially beyond what is offered in regular teacher training programmes.

All those who would like to acquire more in-depth subject-specific knowledge and valuable key competencies in addition to their normal teacher training should definitely tackle this additional course of study. A Master of Science degree at the end means all doors will be open for you.

This degree programme is taught in German.

Good knowledge of German is an essential prerequisite to successfully completing the degree programme. Proof of German language proficiency at DSH-2 level or equivalent is required for admission. For detailed information, please see the German version of the study programme site.
