Applied Computer Science, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

The Applied Computer Science programme at the University of Bayreuth imparts basic competencies in practical as well as theoretical computer science on a broad front. It is complemented by courses in mathematics and the applied subject. In order to successfully solve complex problems with computer science methods, a deeper understanding of the applied subject is required.

Here, as well, practice comes at the right time. There are lots of exercises so that you don't get out of your depth too quickly. There are always new tasks that are fun to develop, from web page design to various programming languages, and you’re always able to have your say.

This degree programme is taught in German.

Good knowledge of German is an essential prerequisite to successfully completing the degree programme. Proof of German language proficiency at B2 level or equivalent is required for admission. For detailed information, please see the German version of the study programme site.
