Literature in Cultural Context, Master of Arts (M.A.)

The interdisciplinary Master's programme "Literature in Cultural Context" focuses on the manifold connections between literature and culture. Its aim is to teach students theoretical, textual, media, historical and cultural skills, thus enabling them to analyse texts of all kinds, and to contextualise them historically, socially, and culturally.

This degree programme is taught in German.

Good knowledge of German is an essential prerequisite to successfully completing the degree programme. Proof of German language proficiency at DSH-2 level or equivalent is required for admission. For detailed information, please see the German version of the study programme site.
