Band on stage cheered by large audience

Promoting job offers and events

Do you need to announce your University event as effectively as possible? Do you have a job offer and want all the potential applicants at the University of Bayreuth to take notice? Then we may be able to help.

It goes without saying that it’s highly likely news of your offer will get around our communicative campus by word-of-mouth. But, of course, we'll do our bit to help. We have three channels at our disposal for this:

•    Campus monitors
•    Jobs portal

Campus monitors

The University has distributed monitors at strategic spots all over the campus. From there, notice of your event will beam out into the campus and spread like wildfire, all in perfect resolution on our large flatscreens.

What can be promoted?

The campus monitors run advertisements for University events to which the public is invited. But events that only target campus members can also be advertised here. Please note that you must upload the information about your event to the Bayreuth Region events portal beforehand. You will find all the information you need on the "Quick guide event portal" webpage.

Who can place an announcement?

Advertisements from cooperating partners and University groups can be placed free of charge. The maximum duration of the spot is 14 days before the event date.

If you are interested in advertising your event in the University context, but are not a University group yourself, please contact us to book paid advertising space:

Jobs portal

The jobs portal of the University of Bayreuth is there to help you find current job offers, be they for students, graduates, or alumni of any discipline.

What jobs can be promoted?

It is for job offers from employers from inside and outside the University. Chairs, for example, can also post their job advertisements for "wissenschaftliche Hilfskräfte" here.
The following categories are catered for:

•    Permanent positions and jobs for graduates and alumni
•    Internships for students
•    Scientific work with and without partners in practice
•    Side jobs

Who can post a job?

Would you like to publish job offers from your company on the jobs portal of the University of Bayreuth? Then please register on our website. If you have any queries, please contact us by e-mail at stellenportal@uni-bayreuth.de.
