Business Law, Master of Laws (LL.M.)
Law graduates with alternative degree profiles are increasingly in demand on the labour market. In response to the growing appeal of alternative degree pathways among both students and employers, the University of Bayreuth has expanded the law portfolio of its Faculty of Law, Business & Economics — with its distinctive focus on business law — by introducing the German-taught master’s programme in Business Law. Building on the LL.B. in Law and Business, the programme completes the faculty’s core profile of “Law and Business”. At the University of Bayreuth, law students can thus pursue three degree programmes in parallel and earn three fully fledged university-level legal qualifications: the Bachelor of Laws in Law and Business (LL.B.), the Master of Laws in Business Law (LL.M.) and the German First State Examination in Law — “Jura hoch 3”.
Jura hoch 3 combines our established state-examination training with the modern demands of the labour market. Our graduates not only receive an outstanding legal education, but also gain valuable expertise in business and economics.
