Students and graduates can rate their own university on Studycheck. On average, the University of Bayreuth received four out of five stars in the overall rating last year. This puts it in 4th place among universities in Bavaria and again in 8th place among medium-sized universities (between 5,000 and 15,000 students) in Germany.
With the overall ranking 2024, StudyCheck, Germany's largest university evaluation portal, presents the most popular colleges and universities in Germany. The University of Bayreuth has received 956 ratings in the last three years. The best ratings were given to the course content (grade 4.2) and the lecturers (grade 4.0). The recommendation rate is a strong 93 percent.
"We are proud to be among the top 10 German universities. The positive evaluations from students on Studycheck spur us on every year to expand and improve our range of courses even more," says University President Prof. Dr. Stefan Leible.
The overall ranking is based on all the experience reports published on StudyCheck.de (www.studycheck.de) for the past calendar year 2023. The ranking of the individual universities and colleges is determined by the so-called score value, which is formed by the star rating and the recommendation rate of the students.
The website Studycheck.de invites students and graduates to rate their college or university. The criteria are: Study content, lecturers, courses, facilities, organization, library and digital studying. More than 80,000 ratings per year make the ranking meaningful.
