Students can rate their own university on Studycheck. 94 percent of students and graduates have recommended the University of Bayreuth to others. On average, the university received four out of five stars in the overall rating. This puts it in 8th place among universities in Germany and 4th place in Bavaria.
"For us, the positive evaluations by students every year are a sign that we are doing a lot right here," says Prof. Dr. Stefan Leible, President of the University of Bayreuth. "We are continuously expanding our range of courses and equally make sure that our students find optimal conditions."
The students particularly appreciate these optimal conditions. This year, Studycheck's "Digital Readiness" ranking was also compiled for the first time. This is intended to provide an insight into student satisfaction with the digitalisation of the university. The University of Bayreuth was ranked 5th among German universities. In fact, only 21 of all German universities received the "Digital Readiness" award.
In the Studycheck Award, colleges and universities in Germany are assessed on the basis of student ratings. This year, "Digital Readiness" was also awarded. The website Studycheck.de invites students and graduates to rate their college or university. The criteria are: Study content, lecturers, courses, facilities, organisation, library and digital studying. More than 80,000 evaluations per year make the ranking meaningful. For the University of Bayreuth, 808 evaluations were submitted in the last three years.
