University elections 2026

The 2026 University Elections will take place online from 12:00 on 15 June 2026 until 12:00 on 19 June 2026.

As part of this year’s university elections, student representatives will be elected to the Faculty Councils of Faculties I to VII, as well as the twenty additional student representatives to the University of Bayreuth Student Parliament.

The term of office for the elected student representatives is one year (from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027).

Voting

Voting will take place electronically from Monday, 15 June 2026, 12:00 noon until Friday, 19 June 2026, 12:00 noon.

Access to the electronic voting platform is only possible during the voting period.

Alternatively, you may also cast your vote in person at the central polling station using a PC provided there. For this purpose, please contact the Elections Office (Universitätsstraße 30, Room 1.92, Phone: +49 (0)921 55 5194, e-mail: wahlamt@uni-bayreuth.de).
