The decision as to which courses can be credited is made by your lecturers. In order to check the possibilities for crediting an online course, please contact the lecturer whose course you would like to replace with the online offer directly. Some lecturers may make a selection of courses available on their website that can be credited..
edX was founded by Harvard University and MIT as a non-profit organization to transform traditional education into digital forms. The multilingual course program can be used free of charge.

The University of Bayreuth has a limited number of edX vouchers available by May 25, 2020, which are open to all UBT members who have a BT-number (bt-Kennung) or a S-number (s-Kennung). The Virtual University of Bavaria offers courses completely free of charge. ECTS points can be acquired in the CLASSIC vhb course programme, if the local examination offices provide for this. All OPEN vhb courses can be used by anyone interested and anyone who is interested.

Class Central Ivy League MOOCs
A special offer is the "Ivy League Collection". The disciplines offered are those listed under "Class Central". The courses are mostly free of charge, a certificate will be invoiced upon request.
Courses are offered by the renowned universities Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, Yale.
Many courses can be used free of charge, completion certificates cost from 39 USD. As a guest you can also attend certificate courses for free without purchasing a certificate.
