GameCamp Bayreuth 2026: A gathering place for the gaming community

On 16 and 17 May 2026, the University of Bayreuth will once again become a hub for gaming, creativity and exchange: GameCamp Bayreuth 2026 will bring together developers, gamers, designers, artists and anyone else interested.

As an interactive Barcamp GameCamp thrives on the active participation of its attendees. Instead of a fixed programme, everyone jointly shapes the content – ranging from talks and workshops to discussion sessions and spontaneous game jams. The focus is on knowledge sharing, new ideas, and networking within the gaming community.

GameCamp is aimed at newcomers as well as experienced industry professionals and offers an open platform for anyone who wants to share and further develop their passion for games.

The event takes place in the Faculty of Law and Economics building (RW I) at the University of Bayreuth. Admission on Saturday starts at 11:00, with the official opening scheduled for 12:00. A networking event is also planned for Saturday evening. On Sunday, admission begins at 09:00 and the programme starts at 10:00.

Catering will be provided on both days. Participation is free of charge. Tickets are available at:
