I would like to thank all teaching staff and researchers at the University of Bayreuth for this," says University President Prof. Dr. Stefan Leible. "Considering that this generation in particular began their studies under coronavirus conditions and then experienced the transition to normality, I am all the more pleased that they are so satisfied with the conditions at the University of Bayreuth."
The excellent results of the ranking are based on a CHE survey of Bayreuth Bachelor's students in the subjects of biology, chemistry, biochemistry, geography, geosciences, computer science, mathematics, physics and sports science. Together with facts about the courses on offer, the assessments provide an overview of the actual conditions in the degree program. In addition to the general study situation, students in the CHE survey also rate the courses on offer, the supervision and support provided during their studies, digital teaching elements and the practical and research orientation of teaching - the latter shows, for example, the extent to which current research findings are referred to in the courses and students are given the opportunity to carry out their own research activities as part of the courses.
