Detailed student surveys are at the core of the CHE ranking. This year, the University of Bayreuth’s programmes in Business Administration, Law, Economics, Business & Information Systems Engineering, and Industrial Engineering & Management continue to perform at a clearly above-average level in student assessments. For the ranking results, students evaluated aspects such as the overall study situation, the range of courses offered, support during their studies and for stays abroad, as well as personal supervision by teaching staff. At the University of Bayreuth, these key aspects were each rated at 4.5 stars or higher. Nationwide, the average rating for the overall study situation was 4.2 out of 5 stars.

Not only students have awarded the University of Bayreuth top marks; fact-based evaluations based on available indicators and data on degree programmes also place the university among the top group. In particular, the international orientation in Business Administration, the support provided at the beginning of studies, and exam preparation in Law were rated as highly positive.

“The excellent results in the CHE ranking once again impressively confirm the high quality of studying and teaching at the University of Bayreuth. They show that our consistent focus on outstanding support, international orientation, and practice-oriented education resonates with our students. These top ratings are both a recognition of our work and an incentive to continue on this successful path and to maintain study conditions at this high level,” says University President Professor Dr. Stefan Leible.
