The Ecological Botanical Garden (ÖBG) offers a unique botanical journey around the world. You can experience around 12,000 plant species here in habitats designed to resemble the original ones in nature. ÖBG serves teaching and research, the conservation of endangered species, and the public in its education and recreational services.

This is where you can learn more than 20 foreign languages. In Chinese, English, French, Italian, and Russian, we can even offer you a UNI-cert qualification.

The University of Bayreuth Library is the most important general library in the region. Its main task is to provide literature and information at the University of Bayreuth. At the same time, it is available to the region’s public as a partner for information.
