Another focus of the cooperation between the University of Bayreuth and the Bosch Health Campus will be on teaching and student exchange. The project leader of the cooperation at the BHC, Dr. Matthias Zuchowski, will provide insights into the practice of health management in courses of the Bayreuth "Health Economics" degree programme. At the same time, students will have the opportunity to complete internships in the facilities of the Bosch Health Campus, especially in the administrative areas of the Robert Bosch Hospital (RBK). This will give them first-hand experience of current developments and structural issues in the healthcare sector. Furthermore, it has been agreed that they will be able to write bachelor's or master's theses on practice-related health economics topics in exchange with those responsible at the Bosch Health Campus.
Bosch Health Campus
The Bosch Health Campus (BHC) brings together all the institutions and activities of the Robert Bosch Foundation (RBSG) in the field of health: in the treatment of patients, in biomedical research, in medical and nursing education and training, and in the promotion of promising ideas for better healthcare. With its four focal points of treatment, research, education, and promotion, the campus stands for future- and patient-oriented healthcare. Its facilities include the Robert Bosch Hospital (RBK) with the RBK Lung Center Stuttgart and the Charlottenhaus Clinic, the Dr Margarete Fischer Bosch Institute for Clinical Pharmacology (IKP), the Robert Bosch Centre for Tumour Diseases (RBCT), the Irmgard Bosch Education Center (IBBZ), and the Robert Bosch Centre for Innovative Health (RBIH).

Institute for Management in Medicine and Health Sciences
The Institute for Management in Medicine and Health Sciences (IMG), under the direction of Professor Dr. mult. Eckhard Nagel, performs a variety of scientific and specialist tasks in teaching and research at the University of Bayreuth. With an interdisciplinary orientation, IMG devotes itself to scientific questions in research projects against the background of medical innovations, demographic and epidemiological changes, increased life expectancy, as well as scarce monetary and human resources in the health care system. Close links also exist with institutions and initiatives that strengthen and promote medical care in the region. These include the Upper Franconia Medical Campus, the Bayreuth Regional Centre of the Bavarian Cancer Registry, and the organisation and evaluation of the selection process for the Bavarian rural doctor quota, and the public health service quota.
