Afterwards, University President Prof. Dr. Stefan Leible will look back on the highlights and challenges of 2022. Students and other members and friends of the University of Bayreuth will also participate in the review. At the same time, the dies academicus will also be a forum for the exchange of new ideas and perspectives for future developments. This year, it offers a special additional programme item for this purpose: In a moderated dialogue, Dr. Anna-Lena Scholz, ZEIT editor in the Knowledge Department, and Professor Dr. Hannah Schmid-Petri, communication scientist and holder of the Chair of Science Communication at the University of Passau, will speak on the topic: "In the midst of the crisis: What science can – and must – achieve now".
The event will be held in German. It will be musically framed and end with a reception in the foyers of the Audimax, to which the University of Bayreuth also cordially invites you.
