The CHE Ranking: leading position for study environment.
The University of Bayreuth continues to receive positive reviews from its students and occupies top positions in some of the subjects analysed in the CHE Ranking. The study environment, supervision of students, and the well-equipped student laboratories are all rated high by our students. They consider themselves to be getting much more personal attention than they would at some of Germany’s larger universities in subjects like chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, and computer science. The earth sciences ranked high for their scientific publications and research budget. The University of Bayreuth’s programmes in law, business, and economics took a leading position for the overall study environment, our broad (often interdisciplinary) selection of courses, the supervision provided by our dedicated instructors, access to highly modern IT equipment on campus, and the strong connection between teaching and professional practice.
