Enrolment

General notices

  • The enrolment period for undergraduate degree programmes with no aptitude assessment process, study orientation process, or limits on entry is 15.04.2018 12.10.2018.

  • The enrolment period for undergraduate degree programmes requiring an aptitude assessment process or a study orientation process is 15.07.2018 12.10.2018 or once you have received your admission letter.

  • The enrolment period for undergraduate degree programmes with limits on entry is announced during the admission process.

  • For master’s programmes that do not require an application to be submitted via CAMPUSonline, enrolment is possible in the period of 15.07.2018 – 12.10.2018. The master’s programmes that require an application can be found here.

  • The enrolment period for all other degree programmes is 15.07.2018 12.10.2018.

  • Please note: the bachelor’s programme Biochemistry has a limit on entry as of Winter Semester 2018/19. Therefore, the deadlines for degree programmes with a limit on entry apply. If you have any questions, please contact the Student Administration Office (Studierendenkanzlei).

  • Enrolment may be carried out by another person legally authorized to do so in writing.

  • Master’s programmes: enrolment generally requires an admission letter or the approval of the board of examiners (see Applying for master’s programmes)

  • Please note:
    If you are already enrolled or renewed your enrolment at the University of Bayreuth, you do not need to enrol again. In this case, please refer to the page on changing your subject .


The enrolment process:

Enrolment is carried out via CAMPUSonline. You will find the link at the bottom of the page. The programmes offered in Winter Semester 2018/19 are visible during the above-mentioned period. 

Here is an overview of the most important steps:
 

  • Create an application account (Bewerberkonto).

  • Fill out the application for the programme of study to which you would like to apply. Afterwards, you will be directed to Self Service.

  • After accepting your study place, under Self Service, you will find the Application for Enrolment. Please print this out and send it (together with the required documents) by post to the address given on the last page of the application by 12.10.2018. Please make sure you submit all documents in full. Please also note the information on providing evidence of medical insurance coverage for students (see item 1).

  • If all documents are submitted on time and in full, you will be able to enrol at the University of Bayreuth. If documents are incomplete or problematic, this will appear under Self Service. We therefore ask that you check back regularly.

  • Once you have enrolled, you will receive an e-mail containing the data necessary for your student account (username and PIN code). Here you can also print out your certificate of enrolment.

  • Your UBT Campus Card will be sent to you by post

  • All other notices regarding your studies can be found in the information for new students (please read it carefully – it’s for your own good!).
